Praise God!

     "Praise God from whom all blessings flow; Praise Him all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host; Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost."
     "Let's just praise the Lord -- praise the Lord!  Let's just lift our hands toward heaven and praise the Lord"!
      As I look out my big picture window toward the east this morning, I see the lovely sunshine and the beautiful heavens which declare the glory of God; the firmament which sheweth His handywork, and my heart fills with Thanksgiving and praise!  It makes me want to fall on my knees and humbly sing:
     "Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul!  Thank you, Lord, for making me whole!
Thank you, Lord, for giving to me Thy great salvation so full and free"!

This is the month our nation observes a National Day of Thanksgiving.  I trust that we will take a little time each day to reflect upon the many blessings we enjoy from the hand of our Heavenly Father.
Perhaps you would like to memorize this little Psalm of praise and thanksgiving and think upon it often as you prepare for your Thanksgiving holiday.

     "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.  Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing.
      Know ye that the Lord He is God; it is He that hath made us and not we ourselves: we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.
      Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise; be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.
      For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations."

Praise the Lord!  It makes me want to sing again -- "Praise God from whom all blessings flow"!!
