I am looking forward, the Lord willing, of going to the house of God this Sunday on Father's Day.
I am thankful for my pastor, the shepherd of the flock, who cares for and feeds our church family from the word of God.
I am very grateful for the men of God in our church congregation---older men who have faithfully walked with God for many years and are a wonderful example to the younger fathers.
I am also very thankful that we have some great young men who are faithful and are good role models for the younger boys who look up to them!
As I think today of our homes----our churches----our nation--- in need of godly leadership; I would humbly pray:
"Rise up, O men of God! Have done with lesser things;
Give heart and mind and soul and strength to serve the King of Kings."
