Let Us Kneel

In the 95th Psalm, we read:  "O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.  For He is our God: and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand."
What a sweet scripture, and what a blessed privilege to Come -- to Worship -- to Bow Down -- to Kneel before the God who made us!

In a little devotional I was reading, these words spoke to my heart:  "There's something about the kneeling posture that bends us.  It makes us more pliable and able to hear."
As I begin this New Year, I want my posture before God to be a bent one!

"Oh, the beautiful garden, the garden of prayer!
Oh, the beautiful garden of prayer!
There my Saviour awaits, and He opens the gates
To the beautiful garden of prayer."
