M - O - T - H - E - R

How can you define a Mother's Love?  It is Sweet; it is Comforting; it is Encouraging; it is Tireless; it is Unselfish; it is Kind; it is Understanding; it is Peaceful; it is Christ-like!
It is tender, but it is also tenacious!  It is forgiving, but it also insists on obedience!

It seems impossible to me to adequately define a Mother's Love!  I think it must have been implanted in a Mother's heart by our Heavenly Father!

In honor of our Mothers, I wanted to share this old song by Howard Johnson, copyrighted in 1915!

M - is for the million things she gave me,
O - means only that she's growing old,
T - is for the tears she shed to save me,
H - is for her heart of purest gold,
E - is for her eyes with love-light shining,
R - means right, and right she'll always be,
Put them all together, they spell MOTHER,
A word that means the world to me!

A very special "Happy Mother's Day"  to the mothers of my wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren:
Paula, Barb, Jessica, Mandy and Brittany!!
