KEEP ME!

This morning I was reading in the 17th Psalm, which is a prayer of David!  When I came to verse 8, the first two words, "Keep Me," just warmed my heart as I thought about how my Heavenly Father is able to Keep Me -- every day -- no matter what comes my way!
So I thought that I would share a few verses with you that I trust will encourage you to know that Jesus not only WANTS to keep you, but He is ABLE to keep you as Jude records in the last words of his epistle:
     "Now unto Him that is able to 'keep you' from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever.  Amen."

I Samuel 2:9 -- "He will keep the feet of His saints . . ."

Psalm 17:8 -- "'Keep me' as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of Thy wings."

Psalm 91:11 -- "For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to 'keep thee' in all thy ways."

Psalm 121:3 -- ". . .He that 'keepeth thee' will not slumber."

Isaiah 26:3 -- "Thou wilt 'keep him' in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee . . ."

Philippians 4:7 -- "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, 'shall keep' your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

     Thank You, Heavenly Father, for your blessed Word which is such a wonderful lamp for my feet and light for my path!
