Happy Birthday (to me) :)

Today is my 76th Birthday and I am having a blessed and wonderful day!!
I was born at home, and we did not have a bathroom in the house until I was about 8 years old!  (That part is not one of my favorite memories)! :)

My brother and I went to a one- room country schoolhouse about a mile from our home, and walked most of the time.  I grew up on the farm, and now after many years of "city living", I love being able to look out my front window and see them plowing or harvesting in the field across the road.

I went to college in Oklahoma and met my "Texan" the very first day I was on campus.  The Lord allowed us to spend over 50 years in ministry for Him, and I have many sweet memories of loving and serving Jesus through the years.

Now, since Dad has gone to heaven, I am so very blessed to have all of the family nearby except Jonathan who ministers at a church in Kansas City.  In fact, I must hurry because they have planned a very special Birthday celebration for me of feasting, family fun and fellowship!!
