Good morning! I trust that your heart is filled with Praise and Thanksgiving on this Friday morning as we look to the coming Lord's Day, if Jesus tarries! My heart is blessed and humbled as I think of how wonderful it is to be able to say with the Psalmist, David, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." And how blessed to be able to say -- Jesus has led me as a shepherd leads his uncomprehending sheep. He leads me in not just great moments of blazing crisis, at the great crucial moments of decision in my life, but He leads me every day, every hour, in every little moment on the road I walk! What a sweet privilege to be able to sing -- "The King and I walk down life's road together!"
Sometimes, however, life is difficult! It is true that there are hard places as we walk this road of life, but we don't need to ever walk alone because Jesus "giveth grace to count the hardest spot the sweetest place." Praise the Lord! I love that beautiful little quote! May you sense God's sweet presence especially near as you walk with Him today!
