In Galatians 6:9, we read these wonderful words -- "Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if (this little two-letter word 'IF' is so very important) we faint not." So let us go to the ant. Tammerlane used to relate to his friends the following anecdote of his early life.
"I once was forced to take shelter from my enemies in a ruined building, where I sat alone many hours. Desiring to divert my mind from my hopeless condition, I fixed my eyes on an ant that was carrying a grain of corn larger than itself up a high wall. I numbered the efforts it made to accomplish this object. The grain fell 69 times to the ground, but the insect persevered, and the 70th time it reached the top! This sight gave me courage at the moment, and I never forgot the lesson."
So, my friends, are you at the 69th time, and feel you can not go one step further on? Remember that "Faith is the bird that feels the light when the dawn is still dark." Praise the Lord! I love that little quote! So let us determine to --
"Just keep on praying 'till light breaks through! The Lord will answer; He'll answer you! God keeps His promise---His Word is true. Just keep on praying 'till light breaks through!"
